| A short announcement (not a particularly important one, but it'll save telling | |
| everyone individually when I see them): | |
| I'm leaving UCL imminently - after a year or so, it's become fairly clear that | |
| I'm not really equipped for the demands of a research degree. This isn't a huge | |
| disappointment - I've certainly learnt loads while I've been there, and I'm glad | |
| I gave it a go, but it's not for me. | |
| The other consequence of this is that I'm going to be looking for work very | |
| shortly. I've already got some possible interesting things lined up, but would | |
| still be very grateful to hear from anyone who's in need of an experienced | |
| programmer / web dev / software engineer who also has reasonable design skills, | |
| good maths and stats, and knows a bit about user research. Basically a techy | |
| jack-of-all-trades. If you're interested or know anyone who might be, (Freelance | |
