The goal of this demo is to show how to use D3 and TopoJSON to draw U.S. states and counties, and how to map the IDs in the TopoJSON file to names.
This demo is based off the following blocks:
#include "ofApp.h" | |
//--------------------------------------------------------------
void ofApp::setup(){ | |
this->receiver.setup(4444);
this->subscriber.setup("localhost", 2046);

The goal of this demo is to show how to use D3 and TopoJSON to draw U.S. states and counties, and how to map the IDs in the TopoJSON file to names.
This demo is based off the following blocks:
A demo of TopoJSON using a single file that contains county, state and country boundaries. This example uses topojson.mesh
to extract separating lines between states and counties from the geometry collections.
A demo of TopoJSON on a U.S. counties shapefile from the census bureau using d3.geo.albersUsa. The same TopoJSON file can also be used to show counties.
