OpenPGP Key Transition Statement from Lizhou Sha (2016-10-27)
I have created a new OpenPGP key and will be transitioning away from my
old key. The old key remains secure to the best of my knowledge and will
continue to be valid for some time, but I prefer all new correspondence
to be encrypted with the new key, and I will be making signatures with
the new key going forward.
This statement is signed with both keys to certify the transition. In
addition, my new key is signed by my old key.
For a speedy re-integration into the Web of Trust, if you have signed
my old key, I would appreciate signatures on my new key as well, as
long as your signing policy permits it without further and possibly
out-of-band proof from me.
The old key, which is a 4096-bit RSA key, has the fingerprint
05CB 8CB7 44BF 65AC 55FA 004D ECA3 650A C6A0 C408
And the new key, which is also a 4096-bit RSA key, has the fingerprint
C123 2BF7 F889 B72A FAE0 9D28 F809 DE5D 9511 A4E4
with the UIDs | |
Lizhou Sha <slz@mit.edu>
Lizhou Sha <lizhou@sl2.xyz>
The full public key with self-signatures only may be downloaded from
https://sl2.xyz/pubkey.asc
For all current public signatures, please download my new public key
from a public PGP key server. An example invocation for GPG would be
gpg2 --keyserver hkp://pool.sks-keyservers.net \
--recv-key C1232BF7F889B72AFAE09D28F809DE5D9511A4E4
Please verify that the fingerprint of the received key matches the one
listed on line 23. You may also check that it is signed by my old key:
gpg2 --check-sigs C1232BF7F889B72AFAE09D28F809DE5D9511A4E4
If you would like any further verification or have any questions about
this transition, please contact me directly using any means convenient
to you. | |
Sincerely, | |
Lizhou Sha | |
