Seattle Shit
- Orcas Island –– Take a ferry out to a tiny, cute island. Kind of a tourist trap, but nice.
- Discovery Park – It's a big ass park
- SAM (Seattle Museum of Art) –– Not The MET or MoMA, but maybe that's a feature
I don't see what the big deal is about this place but if you go to Pike Place Market, my favorite restaurant there is a little seafood place called Place Pigalle.
It's a thing people love. Standing in line is a decent way to kill time.
Uwajimaya –– Asian supermarket/depot. Has a great Japanese bookstore in it with an interesting selection of "lifestyle" magazines...which are like Japanese "how-to" guides for being in certain aesthetic lanes.
- Annapurna –– Nepalese; my favorite spot in Capitol Hill
- Kedai Makan –– Malaysian (this is just a storefront; don't think it has seating)--also next to Montana
- Oddfellows –– bourgeoisie brunch/lunch; v Pinterest friendly
- Lost Lake –– bourgeoisie diner
- Smith –– bourgeoise New American
- La Carta de Oaxaca –– really banging Mexican food, but it's Oaxacan, so a little different from standard tex mex fare
- Windy City Pie –– if you like Chicago style pizza at all, it's insane. Also a good beer list...though this used to be in a totally different spot, so not sure if the beer list is still good
- Hattie's Hat –– super tasty, low-class diner
- Montana –– hip dive (think old school Bushwick). They have a weird draft cocktail with Fernet and cold brew that I love
- Canon –– high end cocktail bar, insane bourbon and tequila list
- Sun Liquor Lounge –– also a high end cocktail bar
- Fremont Brewing Company –– enormous outdoor beer hall
- Cafe Vita
- Stumptown
- Analog Coffee
- Oddfellows
...there's actually a ton of bad coffee in Seattle.
- Molly Moon's
- Full Tilt
- Salt & Straw
