I'm curious as to why there's no got applicationDidFinishLauching
being logged though?
Gist revision #7 to add app('finishLaunching')
call is confirmed to receive applicationDidFinishLaunching
message.
% node ./cocoa-hello-world2.js
got applicationDidFinishLauching
NSConcreteNotification 0x1031304c0 {name = NSApplicationDidFinishLaunchingNotification; object = <NSApplication: 0x10310ab40>; userInfo = {
NSApplicationLaunchIsDefaultLaunchKey = 1;
}}

Please see my comment in TooTallNate/NodObjC#2
The new event loop seems to be quite exepsive from a CPU point of view
