Known Issues: On High Sierra there are problems related to the screen brightness and sleep issues.

1. Reset SMC and NVRAM

This procedure is tested on Mac OS X 10.8 with Developpers tools installed (xCode).

PHP 5.4 installed with Homebrew.

Download the following files from Oracle website (yes, you need to create an account and accept terms):

Open the Terminal Application
Type in sudo -i and type in your Mac Administrator account password. sudo gives you root level or administrator level privileges.

dsconfigad -show

dpkg -l linux-image*
uname -r
sudo apt-get remove linux-image-2.6.32-{21,37,38,39,40,41,42,43,44}-server
sudo apt-get autoremove
