gonna put this here for anyone if they look through search or something because i did and it also seems like multiple people are getting this issue

DSI FLIPNOTE STUDIO CRASHING WHILE BROWSING SUDOMEMO???

(you will need a pc or something with access to your dsi's sd card to fix this)

Step 1. Make sure the rom you have is from the same region as your DSI.

If you have save data on your DSI from another region of Flipnote Studio, it should be stored on your SD Card under romLocation/saves/Flipnote Studio (REGION).pub or romLocation/saves/Flipnote Studio (REGION).pu# <- (number). I strongly recommend you make a backup of your save file before continuing.

Step 2. Press the Y button on your DSI in Twilight Menu while hovering over Flipnote Studio, and a menu should show up.

Step 3. Change the DSiWare Booter to Unlaunch.

If you dont have Unlaunch, or unsure, hold A+B while booting up your device. If no menu comes up, here's a guide on how to install it: https://dsi.cfw.guide/installing-unlaunch.html.

Step 4. If you have flipnotes saved to your sd card, Go to private/ds/app on your sd card. Copy all folders to a seperate folder on your computer as a backup. Here are all the codes for Flipnote Regions that i know of, for the other ones i am uncertain, but look for a file in one of these folders called recent10.pls

USA: 4B475545 AUS/Europe: 4B475556

Rename your previous regions folder to your new regions folder, eg. if i am moving from region USA to AUS, i would rename folder 4B475545 to 4B475556. Do not delete any other folders as those may contain other games save data.

Step 5. Launch Flipnote Studio and it should be good!
