This will allow for outside clients to connect to the gearman-job-server
.
cd /etc/default/
nano gearman-job-server
In the last line at the bottom of the file:
PARAMS="--listen=0.0.0.0"
There you go. It took me some time to find it, so hopefully this will show up on some Google searches.
It's very useful. And you also need to
sudo /etc/init.d/gearman-job-server restart
to reboot the service.When u build a service inside WSL and visit it from windows, then usually the Gearman server cannot work normally.
