In 2020, COVID-19 made its way around the globe pushing many survivors to their physical and emotional edge. Presently, we continue to adjust to the 'new norm' of living in a society of limited human to human interactions. For over a year the children in the stages of developing core human social abilities - such as empathy were robbed of in-person opportunities to explore how to cope with the emotions of their peers.
Maude and Jannaee teamed up to build [name of game: TBD] - a game that allows children to practice growing their skills in empathy, compassion and kindness. This will be a presentation aimed at teaching the basics of game, development using a game engine and C++.
Audience Skill Level: No skills required, as this will touch on highlevel concepts.
