As open source developer, my work is mostly focused on supporting the decentralization trend and the development of open economic neworks. As a designer I am passionate about creating inclusive and not-procedural user experiences. As an anarchist, I try to empower groups with tools for self management, coordinating together in a p2p way.

tl;dr I usually code in Javascript and create mockups with sketchApp. I am passionate about p2p protocols and decentralization theories. In 2017 I co-signed a US patent about SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR NETWORKED DEVICE SECURITY on top of bitcoin blockchain. Currently working on economic networks powered with REA ontology and federated social networks. I like p2p coordination and work closely with userbase. Sometimes I wrote about my work on my website

FairCoop December 2014 - ongoing

FairCoop's mission is to create an innovative glocal economic system from the bottom up in favor of an alternative and post-capitalist model to pave the way for a collective change towards a life in common.

I have been in FairCoop since 2015 and during this span I got many chances to deal with different themes - such as open governance, peer to peer coordination and decentralized consensus - both theoretically and practically. I took part in many projects held by the community - last one was about designing and developing the new website. On this post I collected some thoughts about this experience: https://hackmd.io/s/Sk6ap3Dff#

Here I took care of the information architecture, the UI design, and code. I was also responsible for supporting the progress of the project.

I used sketch to create mockups and react to build it, using gatsbyjs framework to convert the webapp into a static website.

Uniquid June 2016 - December 2017

position: Lead front-end developer

A library and a platform with aim to provide blockchain asset management for IOT.

Uniquid is a startup based both in San Francisco and Rome. It was founded to provide a secure and decentralized infrastructure to manage milions of connected devices without passwords, relying on blockchain technology.

I contributed together with the core team to develop the white paper to create secure contracts between devices on top of bitcoin blockchain. As lead front-end developer I was responsbile of designing and developing the web dashboard to manage contracts and IOT devices identity.

As Lead Designer & frontend Dev I developed the UX/UI of Uniquid commercial product. This experience allowed me to deeply improve my javascript skills and bitcoin protocol & cryptography primitives understanding on the one hand, and to understand how to hide complexity on interfaces and create a smooth UX experience for users on the other.

I choosed bitcoinJs as lib to interact with bitcoin blockchain and sketch to create the dashboard mockups. React, PostCss and Redux for frontend Development.

Nois3 Feb 2015 - Jun 2016

A Rome web agency focused in design thinking and user experience.

I took part in several projects during my experince @ Nois3. One of them was the creation of the website and conference of the World Usability Day (WUD) that we held in Rome. Other projects I worked on:

Development made with Sketch and Wordpress

I was responsible for the visual identity and the whole frontend web design part and for the implementation in html/css/Javascript of Oboxo: a social ecommerce platform. This was my first job in a startup and thanks to the engaging enviroment, to hard working and talented friends I worked with I could improve my skills.
