Login as root (password is "odroid") and create a new user called pi
useradd -mb /home -s /bin/bash -G input,video pi
echo -e "raspberry\nraspberry" | passwd pi
echo 'pi ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD:ALL' > /etc/sudoers.d/pi
Disable unattending upgrades
killall apt
systemctl stop apt-daily.timer
systemctl disable apt-daily.timer
systemctl mask apt-daily.service
systemctl daemon-reload
and update the OS
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade -y
apt-get install -y language-pack-en-base
update-locale LC_ALL="en_US.UTF-8"
update-locale LANG="en_US.UTF-8"
update-locale LANGUAGE="en_US.UTF-8"
Edit the startup
systemctl edit getty@tty1
adding these lines
[Service]
ExecStart=
ExecStart=-/sbin/agetty -a NameOfYourChoice --noclear %I $TERM
and restart it
systemctl restart getty@tty1
