I'm having a difficult time communicating with the BitBay support for what should be a simple refund. This document was created in order to better share links and make it easier for the BitPay support staff to facilitate a refund.
I paid BitPay invoice CSw5bWhtu41e1dcrSyiKt4, which resolved in my Electron Cash wallet as bitcoincash:qzfg5e8zmeauj3wx603hg3eyw4ynasa73uqyucjt3m. I need BitPay support staff to review invoice CSw5bWhtu41e1dcrSyiKt4 and refund the Bitcoin Cash sent to that invoice.
On 3/15/23 at 10:47 UTC I sent 16.65 BCH to bitcoincash:qzfg5e8zmeauj3wx603hg3eyw4ynasa73uqyucjt3m (legacy address 1EMqSoDzMdBuuvM2RUnup3FnDeo6wuHxEg) because that was the address that resolved in BitPay invoice CSw5bWhtu41e1dcrSyiKt4. This is captured in transaction ID c14c7e61d16fe177dd7f7e6820f3379c103aaaa63e69cc0e2d83927c474ffe42.
The invoice expired without detecting the payment. The funds are still sitting in address bitcoincash:qzfg5e8zmeauj3wx603hg3eyw4ynasa73uqyucjt3m and the private key for unlocking and returning the funds is linked to BitPay invoice CSw5bWhtu41e1dcrSyiKt4. I would like BitPay support staff to send the 16.65 BCH back to one of the originating addresses.
From transaction c14c7e61d16fe177dd7f7e6820f3379c103aaaa63e69cc0e2d83927c474ffe42, it can be seen that these are the three originating addresses. The funds can be sent back to any of them, or all of them. I'm also happy to provide a new address for recieving the refund.

I've had multiple email exchanges with Javier in the BitPay support team since 3/15/23. I've tried my best to communicate the above information. The only response I've recieved are pre-formatted messages of "We are reviewing your BitPay support request and will follow up with you.", but no follow up ever occurs.
I don't know if he's waiting for another department to give him the details of invoice CSw5bWhtu41e1dcrSyiKt4? Is he waiting for someone higher in management to get involved? At this point (4/3/23) I feel like I'm getting stonewalled on a very simple, very legitimate request for a refund.
