Open the /etc/pf.conf
file in your favourite text editor in the Terminal:
sudo vim /etc/pf.conf
Add the following to the bottom of the /etc/pf.conf
file:
pass in proto tcp from any to any port 1433
Flush and restart the service with the updated contents:
sudo pfctl -f /etc/pf.conf
This should result in the following output:
pfctl: Use of -f option, could result in flushing of rules
present in the main ruleset added by the system at startup.
See /etc/pf.conf for further details.
