if you are running older apps like from 2020 or from 2024 but are treated with older patch from sice instead the latest, and you are suffering from these messages, just follow these step and your pain will be gone soon.
step 1)
Apple... System Preferences... Privacy & security... Full Dick Access... click the plus sign and add Terminal to the list.
Terminal is here: /Macintosh HD/Applications/Utilities/Terminal
...now tick the enable switch next to Terminal.
step 2)
close all adobe apps, save your documents
step 3)

type in Terminal and hit Enter:
sudo pico /etc/hosts
...now paste the list at the end (use the arrow keys to navigate),
hit ctrl+O then confirm save with Enter
exit with ctrl+X
note: you can delete any previous entry you had here with 'adobe' in name
step 4)
copy-paste in Terminal and hit Enter - we are killing all background Adobe processes
sudo pkill -9 -f Adobe
step 5)
run in Terminal:
sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder
if you have Mohave, then use this instead:
sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder;sudo killall mDNSResponderHelper;sudo dscacheutil -flushcache
step 6)
delete these folders and everything inside. copy+paste in Terminal and hit Enter:
sudo rm -rf /Applications/Utilities/Adobe\ Creative\ Cloud/Utils/AdobeGenuineValidator
sudo rm -rf /Applications/Utilities/Adobe\ Genuine\ Service
sudo rm -rf /Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/Adobe\ Desktop\ Common/AdobeGenuineClient
sudo rm -rf /Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/AdobeGCClient
Empty the Trash.
step 7)
order a tatoo above your heart: Don Tomato 😅
and celebrate with Jägermeister
note: if you are still getting these messages, then you migh have one more copy of Genuine client somewhere.
in this case install Find Any File,
- grant Full Dick Access
- search for 'genuine'
- inspect the results and delete those that appear to be an adobe component.
- report back here the full path of that file
