Franks and Corn Bread Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 2 cans Bush's country style baked beans (30-35oz total)
- 1 package ballpark franks, halved lengthwise and diced (12-14 oz total)
- 1 package corn bread or muffin mix (8.5oz total)
- 1 TBSP brown sugar
- 1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
- 1 TBSP mustard (can be fancy mustard for more flavor)
- 1 CUP shredded cheddar cheese (4oz)
Preparation:
- In a bowl combine beans, hot dogs, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard. Mix well.
- Transfer to a greased 9in square baking dish. Seemed to fit in 2qt Pyrex
- Prepare corn bread batter according to package directions
- Stir cheese into corn bread batter
- Drop batter by spoonful onto beans, should cover all beans
- Bake uncovered at 350* for 40-45 mins. Ensure batter at the center is cooked.
- Serves 4-6 people or 2 Techs.
