The Generic Guide to Rooting Android 6.0+ Devices - Get Back Control!

THIS GUIDE IS WORK IN PROGRESS!

The Generic Guide to Rooting Android 6.0+ Devices

Hello, great freely living person! I'm here to give you a nice little guide to root ANY Android device running Android 6.0 or later. If you'd like to get the most out of your device and feel like you're in the need of getting back full control about your device, then this guide is for you! Do note that there are some catches though. Everything else you need to know and do is below!

Note that this process will wipe your data, if the bootloader hasn't been unlocked yet! Be prepared to make backups before, so you don't lose any valuable data from your device. Good luck!

Prerequisites

  • An Android device running Android 6.0 or later - Any common architecture like ARM, ARM64/AArch64, x86 and x86_64/AMD64 should work.
  • A functional USB cable to connect your device to your computer - Install drivers if necessary.
  • A copy of the firmware for your device - It needs to include at least the boot image.

Yet Another Guide in Order to Get to Know Why Computing Is Fun

Yet Another Guide in Order to Get to Know Why Computing Is Fun

This guide will tell you everything about the fun points of computing. I will as all my other guides keep this one updated with a lot of information!

Programming: You Like or Don't Like It!

I really love programming since it really allows you to create your own stuff and allows you to create all sort of things yourself and run it. Programming can be done in several programming languages. The most popular languages are Java, C++, JavaScript and Python. You'll need some skills in order to do it, but if you know then it can be pretty fun!

Building a PC!

This isn't something in the virtual side of computing, but it is the physical side! It's fun to make your own PC and use the parts you choose. It allows you to customize everything freely as you wish and install stuff without bloatware, or any software included by your manufacturer (since you install the operating system yourself). Plus it can save you money with the PC that you'll get, since

Your Ultimate Guide to Virtual Machines: Fun Experiences, Great Programming and Isolation!

Your Ultimate Guide to Virtual Machines: Fun Experiences, Great Programming and Isolation!

Windows 8 Developer Preview - Start Menu

Hello there! This is a long guide that I'll keep regularly updated about virtual machines. I will give my recommendations about hypervisors to use, operating systems to try and more! I am looking to make this starter-friendly, but at the same time give good advice and help you choose and do the right things. Whether it's for fun, for programming or just to isolate your current operating system so you can work safely in the virtual one.

Ehr, Virtual What?

With that being said, what are virtual machines actually? Well, they are operating systems that run on top of of your current, live operating system. For example, I run a seperate Windows XP operating system from my native Xubuntu (Linux distro) installation on my laptop. Windows XP is a virtual machine in that case. This is handy if you wish
